Day 4 - SKYCITY NT Derby Day

It’s SKYCITY NT Derby Day and that means style, ceremony, and of, course big racing. This is the second stage for the winner of the HOT100 Guineas to be in the running to pull off the SKYCITY Triple Crown in the Cup. The stakes are high so expect some big excitement at the track. Other features of the day are the Buntine Handicap for the stayers and WFA for the sprinters.

 

This is the day for classic elegance where the fashion stakes are equally as high as the fast paced racing. Traditionally, black and white is the prominent colour scheme for women, while men often chose to wear a grey morning suit, peacock vest and pin-stripe pants.
