There is an airport shuttle bus which will drop you off or pick you up from nearly anywhere in the city. However, you must book one day in advance when travelling to the airport.

Darwin Public Bus Service
The public bus service is friendly and very reliable, for information on timetables visit their website. On Carlton Draught Darwin Cup Day, the NT Government run a free bus service to the track from Palmerston, Casuarina and the CBD. http://www.nt.gov.au.
We recommend our members and the public utilise public transport during the Carlton Mid Darwin Cup Carnival to alleviate the traffic congestion. Don’t forget the FREE public bus service operating from the CBD, Palmerston and Casuarina on Ladies Day, Darwin Airport Resort Palmerston Sprint Day and Darwin Cup Day. Parking
Darwin Turf Club provides parking during standard race meetings & Carnival.
Normal Racedays
The main entrance accessible off Dick Ward Drive Fannie Bay boasts ample parking for Members and Non Members on our normal and feature racedays.
Darwin Cup Carnival
Due to the volume of cars over this period the Darwin Turf Club has made the inside of the track (centrefield) available for public parking. Access via Playford or Douglas Street and follow the signs to access the car park entry. This area is open on all Carnival race days from 9.30am - 7.00pm. On Cup Day, centrefield car parking opens at 7.30am. Cars left in centrefield overnight may be collected the following day between 9.30am - 1.00pm only.
The carpark accessed off Dick Ward Drive is reserved for Darwin Turf Club Members only and cars not displaying the DTC Member car pass will be turned away.
